Inside the Process

The rationale behind the brand identity for this project was rooted in a thorough analysis of their brief, which indicated a desire for a wordmark logo. In light of this, we sought to create a custom mark that captured the essence of the brand’s name and meaning. Given that “Poco” translates to “little” in Spanish, we endeavored to identify an intersection between this concept and the desired logo.

To achieve this, we opted to use the letter “C” in the name, drawing inspiration from the hand gesture that is commonly used to convey the idea of “little.” This approach not only reflected the brand’s name and meaning but also added a unique visual element to the overall identity.

Regarding color palette and scheme, the client expressed a preference for black and a desire for a more monochrome identity. Our team took this into consideration and incorporated black as a central element of the brand’s visual identity, while also exploring other complementary shades that would create a cohesive and visually appealing aesthetic.

By incorporating elements that reflected the brand’s desired aesthetic and color preferences, we were able to create a cohesive and visually striking brand identity that accurately captured the essence of the brand.
