BuyPower is an online platform that enables individuals and organizations to conveniently pay electricity bills from the comfort of their homes or offices.
With a focus on simplifying the often tedious process of paying for utilities, BuyPower has integrated advanced tools and features that enable users to efficiently manage and conserve their electricity consumption.
BuyPower X BBnaija 2021
As part of its strategic marketing efforts, BuyPower sponsored the 2021 edition of the Big Brother Naija reality TV show, which boasts a massive viewership across Africa, making it the most-watched TV show in Africa.
Leveraging this platform, BuyPower aimed to create a lasting impression on its target audience by creating distinctive and recognizable brand materials, which were worn and used by the participating housemates during the show.






Buypower Brand Refresh
Buypower boasts a significant customer base which made the logo and existing brand identity highly recognizable to its audience.
In light of this, it was important that any refresh efforts did not entail a complete overhaul of the existing brand identity, but rather aimed to revitalize and reinforce the visual language and representation.
With this in mind, we created a design system that allowed us to create illustration packs that were more brand-centric and still memorable for the audience.
Also, due to Buypower’s diversified audience, we adopted a simple yet effective approach, leveraging the brand’s existing palette to create exciting and engaging brand materials that resonated with a vast majority of the audience.
Although at the time, the market demands were for a more vibrant and energetic creative, our commitment to reflecting Buypower’s brand values and image superseded such trends, resulting in a refresh that was both relevant and aligned with the brand’s identity.
